I have acknowledged the fact that I have to stop being alone all the time. But the problem is, I cannot seem to get out of my shell. I have tried a lot of times, and in most of them, I would either end up being hurt, fooled, or betrayed.
Yeah, I know. I'm still playing the old song. Problem is, I cannot seem to find any other "me" who would want to walk the same path as I would. Or, at least, sing a different song with me. I even feel that in a crowd of people, I am alone.
I love listening to soft songs (or at least, not the hard metal types). And oftentimes, I tend to sympathize. It's as if I can relate it to parts of my life that most people don't know. I sing songs most people sing, but with a different interpretation.

Some people just never learn.
And I'm one of them.
I received a text message a long time ago. It said that repeated experiences have only one aim - and that is to teach us what we refuse to learn. And maybe, it isn't half-baked as I thought it was. Though I never really paid much attention, right now it is the first thing that popped into my mind.
I guess you can say that I do have this repeated experience. Judging by the first few statements in this blog, I cannot really deny it - and I'm not. For so many years I have been clinging to something that I know have already come to pass. I know that I often say to people (and even heard some say) to let go of the past and move on. But I guess those things are easier said than done.

Beach Escapades (Week 4) - Laguna Family Reunion
Well, it was not really a "beach escapade" per se, but hey...
May 12 - I woke up at around 5:30 to prepare. I had a little bit of free time because our meeting time was 7 am. I took a bath, cooked something for breakfast, and a little over 6 headed to Mantrade. Unfortunately, those who were supposed to pick me up got there a bit late. I waited there for around 30 minutes. At around 7:30, my sister and her husband arrived, and so I got on the car and we treaded the South Expressway to head to Laguna.
We stopped by the big gas station at South Expressway to have breakfast. Afterwards we continued our journey to my aunt's place. There's nothing much to talk about the trip, so I'll just skip to the point when we got there.

Beach Escapades (Week 3) - Puerto Galera Ulet
May 4, Friday.
Then, same old, same old, Batangas port, then sakay ng ferry papuntang Puerto Galera.

Beach Escapades (Week 2) - Grande Island, Subic
I woke up near to 6 o'clock, so I hurriedly packed my stuff and left. Although the traffic at that time was very heavy (they decided to fix the roads because the elections are near), I arrived at the meeting place just a little over 2 minutes from the scheduled departure. Good thing I was able to call them telling them about the unfortunate event, so they were able to wait for me.
The trip to Subic lasted a little over what was expected. We arrived at the port around 10 o'clock, but we were able to board the ferry around past 11. Then we still had to wait for a while before the ferry eventually moved towards our destination - Grande Island.
